Shoppers Stop Board to recommend dividend

Shoppers Stop Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on April 28, 2007, inter alia, to consider & approve the following:

1. Audited financial results for the year ended March 31, 2007.

2. Recommendation of dividend, if any, for the year 2006-07.

3. Further issue of capital by rights or issue of equity or warrants or partly convertible debentures or fully convertible debenture or such other instruments and / or combination thereof as the Board may decide.

The stock closed the day at Rs.661.15, up by Rs.26.15 or 4.12%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.665 and low of Rs.630.10. The total traded quantity was 5197 shares compared to 2 week average of 2706.
