Kemrock Industries & Exports Ltd has announced that the Company has entered into a technical know-how agreement on April 16, 2007 with the National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), a constituent of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Bangalore. Under the agreement, the Company will produce and commercialize the Carbon Fibre in the country with the know-how developed by NAL.
Carbon Fibre Technology is a high end technology enabling manufacture of strategic material with wide ranging applications wherever strength / stiffness is required with light weight. At present, very few countries in the world possess such technology. With this development, the Company's present range of Reinforced Polymer Composites will be further extended with these high end products. This would impact the growth and business of the Company.
The stock was trading at Rs.328.50, up by Rs.6.80 or 2.11%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.339 and low of Rs.310. The total traded quantity was 45627 compared to 2 week average of 20971.
