Suzlon Energy signs contract with Tierra Energy of Austin, Texas

Suzlon Energy Ltd has announced that Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation, the USA, the step-down subsidiary of the Company has signed a contract with Tierra Energy of Austin, Texas, the USA to provide 42 units of S88-2.1 MW wind turbine generators, for delivery in 2008.
The share was trading at Rs.968.10, down by Rs.19.15 or 1.94% on volume of 161458 shares compared to 2 week average of 147012. The stock had hit an intraday high of Rs.1007.45 and low of Rs.961.05.
