Lupin Ltd allots 42173 Equity Shares

The Allotment Committee of Directors of Lupin Ltd at its meeting held on April 27, 2012 has allotted 42173 fully paid up equity shares of Rs. 2/- each. These shares have been allotted upon exercising of options granted to the employees under Stock option plans of the Company.

In view of the above, the issued and paid up capital of the Company has been increased to Rs. 89,35,49,548 consisting 44,67,74,774 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each.

The Lupin Ltd stock was trading at Rs.539.90, down by Rs.2.70 or 0.50%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.547.65 and low of Rs.532.

The total traded quantity was 0.33 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.63 lakhs.
