Spicejet allots 42,900,000 Equity Shares to Promoter

Pursuant to the shareholders' approval, on April 10, 2012 Spicejet Ltd has allotted 42,900,000 equity shares of Rs.10 each at a price of Rs. 23.18 per share aggregating to Rs. 994,422,000 to Mr. Kalanithi Maran, Promoter of the Company on preferential basis.

The Spicejet Ltd. stock was trading at Rs.26.25, down by Rs.0.50 or 1.87%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.27.30 and low of Rs.25.80.

The total traded quantity was 21.09 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 38.82 lakhs.
