Karnataka Bank to consider private placement of securities

Karnataka Bank Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank will be held on March 26, 2007 to consider a proposal for private placement of Unsecured Redeemable Non-Convertible Subordinated (Tier-II) Bonds (Series I) in the nature of Promissory Notes / Debentures to augment its capital funds.
