LKP Merchant to consider amalgamation of company with LKP Securities Ltd

LKP Merchant Financing Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on March 21, 2007, inter alia, to consider the following business:

1. To receive, consider and if thought fit, to approve a valuation report (for the swap ratio) prepared by M/s Haribhakti MRI Corporate Services Pvt Ltd, for the proposed Amalgamation of LKP Shares and Securities Ltd into LKP Securities Ltd (a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Company), in order to consolidate and merge the braking operations of the both entities.

2. To receive, consider and if thought fit, to approve a Scheme of proposed Amalgamation of LKP Shares and Securities Ltd into LKP Securities Ltd (a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Company).
