Indo Rama Synthetics Commences trial production of New PSF Lines

Indo Rama Synthetics India Ltd has announced that the Company had undertaken expansion of its total production capacity from 300,000 tonnes to 600,000 tonnes per annum in the form of two Continuous Polymerization (CP) plants of the capacity of 400 tpd each (150,000 tonnes per annum) - one for POY production and another for PSF production at the existing site at Butibori, Nagpur in Maharashtra. It may be recalled that the Commercial Production of POY Lines commenced w.e.f. November 01, 2007.

The Company has now informed that, the PSF Plant has also been commissioned and the trial production in the Company's New PSF Lines has commenced w.e.f. March 09, 2007. The Commercial Production shall commence shortly.

Accordingly, the overall Polyester production capacity of the Plant shall stand increased to 600,000 tonnes per annum with the commencement of Commercial Production of PSF Lines.
