Essel Propack announces FY06 net profit of Rs.411 million

Essel Propack Ltd has announced the following Audited results for the year ended December 31, 2006:
The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 411 million for the year ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 460 million for the year ended December 31, 2005. Total Income has increased from Rs 2617 million for the year ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 2940 million for the year ended December 31, 2006.
The Audited Consolidated results are as follows:
The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 985 million for the year ended December 31, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 902 million for the year ended December 31, 2005. Total Income is Rs 10252 million for the year ended December 31, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 8332 million for the year ended December 31, 2005.
The results for the current period include increased Operating Expenses for additional capacities created in USA, Europe and India. Hence the figures of the current year are not strictly comparable with the corresponding previous year.
