Bajaj Electricals Board declares interim dividend

Bajaj Electricals Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on March 12, 2007, has declared an Interim Dividend on 86,42,880 Equity Shares of Rs 10 each at 80% (i.e. Rs 8/- per share) for the financial year 2006-07 as against 60% (i.e. Rs 6/- per share) of dividend in the previous financial year 2005-06.

Further the Company has informed that, the Board of Directors of the Company also approved subscription to 40,00,000 Equity Shares of Rs 10 each of M/s. Starlite Lighting Ltd, constituting 32% of the paid up equity capital of the said Company.
