The Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services Ltd has allotted 1159031 equity shares of the face value of Re. 1 each to employees of the Company and subsidiaries on March 31, 2011 upon exercise of stock options under Employees Stock Option Plan 2005.

The stock closed the day at Rs.27.60, up by Rs.0.50 or 1.85%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.28.60 and low of Rs.27.
