JSW Steel clarifies on news item regarding alumina project

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "JSW Steel to spend $2 bn on aluminium plant" JSW Steel Ltd has clarified that the Company is not taking up any Aluminum project. JSW Aluminum Company Ltd belonging to the same group has signed an MOU with State Government of Andhra Pradesh for setting up an Aluminum project in that state. The Company is no way connected with this project.
