Cranes Software International Ltd March 06, 2007 has announced the launch of NISA/CIVIL Version 15 - the latest in the series of versions of its industry leading FEA package 'NISA/CIVIL'. NISA/CIVIL addresses a range of issues of vital significance to architects and civil engineers working with RCC and Steel structures.
NISA/CIVIL Version 15 comes with a host of new features and marks a significant improvement over the previous version. Some of these are:
- Concrete designs conforming to BS 8110-1997, ACI 318 - 2005
- Steel plastic designs conforming to BS 5950-1:2000 & Limit Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) 2002
- Drawing Editors for Reinforced Slabs, Beams, Columns, Footings & Shells to generate structural drawings as per American, British & Indian Standards
- Drawing Editors for Steel Structures to generate General Arrangement drawings as per American, British & Indian Standards
- Improved drawing generations for Slabs, Beams, Columns, Footing Layout, and Steel General Arrangement drawings as per American, British & Indian Standards
- Generation of Design Reports in ASCII, MS-Word, MS-Excel formats
