Merck Board to consider interim dividend

Merck Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on March 20, 2007, inter alia, to consider payment of Interim Dividend for the year 2007.

With reference to the earlier book closure dates (i.e. from March 23, 2007 to March 30, 2007), Merck Ltd has announced that the Register of Members & Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from March 23, 2007 to March 30, 2007 (both days inclusive) also for the purpose of payment of interim dividend.
