Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services allots 969005 Equity Shares

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd has announced that the Company has allotted 9,69,005 Equity Shares of Rs. 10 each at par to the Trustees of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited Employees' Stock Option Trust today i.e. February 03, 2011. Pursuant to this allotment, the paid-up share capital of the Company stands increased from 9,69,00,525 Equity Shares to 9,78,69,530 Equity Shares.

As a consequence of the increase in the paid-up capital of the Company, the percentage shareholding of the Promoter, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited stands reduced from 60.10% to 59.51% and percentage shareholding of the Promoter Group - Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited Employees' Stock Option Trust stands increased from 0.60% to 1.58%.

The stock was trading at Rs.684, down by Rs.0.75 or 0.11%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.687.95 and low of Rs.672.25.

The total traded quantity was 0.83 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.17 lakhs.
