Indian Sucrose Updates on CDM Project (Carbon Credits)

With reference to the earlier announcement regarding CDM Project to earn Carbon Credits by the Company, Indian Sucrose Ltd has announced that the approval of the project from Host Country Authority, i.e., Ministry of Environment and Forest, Govt. of India, have been obtained vide Ministry Letter dated November 24, 2006.

Further the Company has informed that, the Company's Project have been approved by the Validation Agency, M/s. TUV NORD, Germany and the same have been forwarded to UNFCCC for final registration.

The registration is expected very shortly by the second week of March 2007 after which the Company would be eligible for earning carbon credits and selling thereof.
