ITC allots 5374610 shares under ESOS

ITC Ltd has announced that the Company on January 13, 2011 has issued and allotted 53,74,610 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each, upon exercise of 5,37,461 Options by Optionees under the Company's Employee Stock Option Schemes.

Consequently, with effect from January 13, 2011, the Issued and Subscribed Share Capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 771,13,21,890/- divided into 771,13,21,890 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.175.55, down by Rs.0.55 or 0.31%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.178.50 and low of Rs.170.

The total traded quantity was 15.65 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 8.96 lakhs.
