BaFin approves Suzlon Energy's Proposed acquisition of REpower Systems AG, Germany

Suzlon Energy Ltd has announced that German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) has approved the offer document of the Company for the friendly tender offer for acquisition of the shares of REpower System AG, Germany. The said offer for acquisition has been made at a price of Euro 126 per share and accordingly the shareholders of REpower Systems AG can tender their shares from March 02, 2007 onwards till April 20, 2007.
