Manappuram General fixes Record Date for bonus issue

Manappuram General Finance & Leasing Ltd has announced that March 15, 2007 has been fixed as the Record Date for the purpose of Bonus Issue.

The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 15, 2007, inter alia, had approved a proposal to make a bonus issue in the ratio 1:1 out of the free reserves of the Company.

The Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company held on February 28, 2007, have also approved the proposal for bonus issue.

In BSE, the shares were trading at Rs.104, up by 0.73% (Rs.0.75) over its previous close of Rs.103.25. The total traded quantity till 11:28:48 AM was 1870 shares at a weighted average price of Rs.104.82.
