Sarda Energy & Minerals allots 1804891 shares

Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd has announced that pursuant to the approval of the shareholders in the Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on December 31, 2010 the committee of directors on December 31, 2010 have allotted 18,04,891 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each at a premium of Rs. 500/- per share to M/s. Asia Minerals Ltd., Hongkong, on preferential basis, in accordance with Securities Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirement) Regulations, 2009 and other applicable laws. The shares shall be subject to lock-in as per the SEBI Regulations.

The stock closed the day at Rs.327.50, up by Rs.13.15 or 4.18%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.332 and low of Rs.315.10.

The total traded quantity was 1.57 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.79 lakhs.
