Ingersoll Rand, USA to sell road development business worldwide to Volvo Construction

Ingersoll Rand India Ltd has announced that Ingersoll Rand Company, USA, the Company's parent Company, on February 27, 2007 has announced that it has agreed to sell the road development business worldwide to Volvo Construction Equipment AB.

In India, the sale of the road development business, which forms part of the Construction Technologies segment, will take place after necessary legal including consent from the Board of Directors as well as the members of the Company, are obtained as per statutes.
