EPIC Energy acquires Energy Devices manufacturing unit in Gujarat

EPIC Energy Ltd has announced that the Company has acquired manufacturing facilities for Energy Devices at Por, GIDC Vadodara. The factory has an existing assembly line for UPS equipment ranging from 600 VA (suitable for single computers) to 10 KVA On-line UPS suitable for offices.

This assembly line will now be used by the Company for manufacturing its Energy Power Saver 1090, greatly enhancing the Company's capabilities of servicing the ever increasing demand for its products. The EPS 1090 is today installed in various strategic locations across Maharashtra, leading to Energy Savings of between 15 and 35 percent.

Along with the factory, the Company has also acquired the technology to manufacture the UPS’, which will increase the basket of products now being offered by the Company to its customers. It will also enable to offer its products across various States in Western India.

This is the second major expansion done by the Company after setting up its Assembly Unit at Nerul, Navi Mumbai. This in-house assembling facility has led to a manufacturing cost cuffing of over 25% per KVA.
