Syndicate Bank raises Rs.200 crores through private placement

Syndicate Bank has announced that Private Placement of 1000 Unsecured Redeemable, Non-Convertible Bonds of face value Rs 10 lakhs each aggregating to Rs 100 crores with an option to retain oversubscription - Upper Tier-Il -Series II, was opened for subscription on February 06, 2007. The issue was fully subscribed and the Bank has retained green shoe portion of Rs 100 crores, i.e total issue aggregated to Rs 200 crores. The issue stands closed on February 20, 2007.
