ICRA assigns A1+ Credit Rating for Bharat Electronics's short term debt programme

Bharat Electronics Ltd has announced that M/s. ICRA Ltd conducted the Surveillance of Rating for Rs 100 crores short term debt programme (including commercial paper and inter-corporate deposits) of the Company for the Financial Year 2007-08 and has assigned a rating of "A1+"(Pronounced A one plus) indicating highest credit quality rating assigned by ICRA to short-term debt instruments. The validity period of the rating assigned is from February 15, 2007 to February 14, 2008.
