Ambuja Cements allots 726350 shares under ESOS category

Ambuja Cements Ltd has announced that the Share Allotment & Investor Grievance Committee at its meeting held on October 07, 2010 has allotted 726350 Equity Shares on exercise of the stock options by the employees.

Under Stock Option Scheme 2005-2006 - 72000 shares were allotted, Under Stock Option Scheme 2007 - 56200 shares, Stock Option Scheme 2007 (Grant-II) - 8450 shares, Stock Option Scheme 2008 - 339500 shares, Stock Option Scheme 2008 (Grant-II) - 3300 shares and Stock Option Scheme 2009 - 246900 shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.140.80, down by Rs.1.15 or 0.81%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.143.50 and low of Rs.139.05.

The total traded quantity was 0.75 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 2.43 lakhs.
