Charms Industries to enter into Biodiesel business

Charms Industries Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on February 17, 2007 has decided to enter into the business of Biodiesel in its all forms and branches and its waste / sub products and all classes, kinds, types and description of fuel and energy both conventional and non-conventional and all kinds of scrap materials. The Board of Directors of the Company has therefore decided to alter the Object Clause of the Memorandum of Association of the Company to include all the above-proposed new activities as Main Activities in its Main Object subject to necessary approval / consent of the shareholders of the Company by way postal ballot in accordance with the Provisions of Sec. 192A read with the Companies (Passing of the Resolution by Postal Ballot) Rules, 2001.
