Transgene Biotek to consider raising funds on Sep 30, 2010

Transgene Biotek Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on September 30, 2010, inter alia, to consider and discuss about raising funds for the Company either through FCCBs / GDRs / ADRs / FPO / Preferential Issue / Right Issue of Equity Shares.

The Board will also consider increasing the authorized Capital of the Company.

The stock was trading at Rs.57.95, up by Rs.5.60 or 10.70%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.60.90 and low of Rs.54.

The total traded quantity was 0.44 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.21 lakhs.
