Edelweiss Capital allots 375495590 shares

Edelweiss Capital Ltd has announced that pursuant to the approval of the members obtained at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on July 30, 2010, the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 13, 2010 have allotted 37,54,95,590 equity shares of the face value of Re. 1/- each as fully paid up bonus shares in the ratio of 1 (one) equity share for every 1 (one) equity share held to those shareholders whose names appeared on the Register of Members as on August 11, 2010.

The stock closed the day at Rs.55.75, down by Rs.2.55 or 4.37%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.58.65 and low of Rs.55.55.

The total traded quantity was 1.73 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 3.36 lakhs.
