Ballarpur Industries Ltd recommends 15% final dividend

Ballarpur Industries Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 22, 2006, inter alia, has recommended payment of final dividend of 27.5% (including the interim dividend of 12.5% paid in February 2006) on equity shares of the Company (previous year 2004-05 @ 25%).

Further the Company has informed that the Register of Members & Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from December 01, 2006 to December 12, 2006 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of payment of dividend and Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held on December 12, 2006.
