PPP in New Lines & Doubling

During the next financial year following projects for new railway lines and doubling of rail line works have been proposed on cost sharing/Public Private Partnership (PPP) basis in joint venture with the State Governments of Karnataka, Maharashtra & Andhra Pradesh. This was announced by the Minister of Railways, Kumari Mamata Banerjee while presenting the Railway Budget for the year 2010-11 in the Lok Sabha today.
