BSE Sensex whiz past 10000, closes at 10082.28

BSE Sensex whizzed past 10000 mark on Tuesday. The Sensex closed at 10082.28, up by 101.86 points after hitting an intraday high of 10099.58 and low of 9972.43. Out of 30 stocks in Sensex, 21 were gainers and 9 were losers.
