Trent to convert warrants

Trent Ltd has announced that the appropriate forms for Conversion of Warrants into the Equity Shares of the Company has been despatched under 'UCP' to those eligible warrant holders whose names appeared on the Record date December 21, 2009.

Further the Company has informed that Each warrant holder is entitled to apply, for one Equity Share of Rs. 10/- each at a premium of Rs. 640/-, during the exercise period of the warrants which will be from January 07, 2010 to February 05, 2010.

The warrants not exercised during the said exercise period, would lapse.

The Stock closed the day at Rs.882.05, up by Rs.25 or 2.92%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.900 and low of Rs.860.

The total traded quantity was 4436 compared to 2 week average of 9375.
