Dhanalakshmi Bank raises Rs 150 crores

Dhanalakshmi Bank Ltd has announced that on September 30, 2009 the Bank has issued and allotted, 10.30% Unsecured Redeemable Subordinated Non-Convertible Lower Tier-II (Series VIII) for Rs. 150 Crore on private placement basis, on September 30, 2009. The tenure of the bonds will be 5 years and 7 months. The Interest payment will be on annual basis and the due date for the same is on 30th September of every year.

UTI Technologies Services Ltd. has been appointed as Registrar & Transfer Agents and Axis Trustee Services Ltd. as Trustees.

The stock closed the day at Rs.163.70, down by Rs.10.70 or 6.14%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.173.50 and low of Rs.162.

The total traded quantity was 304540 compared to 2 week average of 633803.
