ITC allots 146090 Shares

ITC Ltd has announced that the Company on August 27, 2009, has issued and allotted 1,46,090 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each, upon exercise of 14,609 Options by Optionees under the Company's Employee Stock Option Schemes.

Consequently, with effect from August 27, 2009, the Issued and Subscribed Share Capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 377,62,86,590/- divided into 377,62,86,590 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.233.15, up by Rs.6.30 or 2.78%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.235.60 and low of Rs.225.35.

The total traded quantity was 416643 compared to 2 week average of 431304.
