GV Films Ltd face-value changes to Rs.10

The face value of GV Films Ltd equity shares changed from Rs.1 to Rs.10 from Wednesday. But, there were issues with DPs showing the quantity wrongly. ICICI Direct was showing the old quantity of shares when the face value was Rs.1. A shareholder reported that he was holding 3315 shares of Rs.1 each and even on Wednesday it was showing as 3315 shares. The demat account should have shown only 331 shares.

There is no intimation on what the company is going to do for the shareholders who have fractions of shares. Meanwhile, there was huge selling on Wednesday with sellers for more than 30 lakhs shares. There were no buyers for the stock on Wednesday. The stock closed the day at Rs.8.56.
