AXIS Bank allots 106937 Equity Shares under ESOP

AXIS Bank Ltd has announced that the Committee of Directors of the Bank on July 13, 2009 has made the allotment of 1,06,937 equity shares of Rs 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 35,98,70,670 equity shares from 35,97,63,733 equity shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.755.90, up by Rs.16.80 or 2.27%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.771 and low of Rs.705.15.

The total traded quantity was 2350789 compared to 2 week average of 1008182.
