Infosys added to the NASDAQ-100 Index

Infosys Technologies Ltd on December 11, 2006 has announced that the company will be added to the NASDAQ-100 index, effective with the market opening on December 18, 2006. The NASDAQ-100 Index is composed of the 100 largest non-financial stocks on the NASDAQ Stock Market in terms of market capitalization. The Company is the first Indian company to be added to the NASDAQ-100 index and is the only Indian company to be part of any of the major global indices.

"We are delighted to be part of the NASDAQ-100 index," said Mr V Balakrishnan, CFO, of the Company. "It is a very important milestone for the company and is part of our journey to become a mainstream stock, globally."
