Prakash Industries EGM approves issue of 1 crore warrants

Prakash Industries Ltd has announced that the members at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company held on June 22, 2009, inter alia, have apporved the issue of upto 1,00,00,000 warrants convertible in to equity shares on preferential basis.

The EGM approved appointment of Shri Vikram Agarwal as Joint Managing Director, Shri Piyoosh Goyal as Director and Shri D Singh as Whole-time Director of the Company.

The stock closed the day at Rs.102.25, up by Rs.3 or 3.02%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.103.75 and low of Rs.97.60.

The total traded quantity was 44682 compared to 2 week average of 104195.
