Carborundum Universal acquires 2 industrial units in Jabalpur, MP

Carborundum Universal Ltd has announced that the Company has acquired 2 industrial units at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. While the first unit is engaged in manufacture of monolithic refractories, the second unit is engaged in manufacture of high quality refractory cement which is an input for monolithic refractories. Both these units have been acquired as going concerns.

The total investment in the aforesaid acquisitions is Rs 320 lakhs. This would provide CUMI with additional monolithic manufacturing capacity of about 12000 tons per annum. The units are strategically located in Central India and would help CUMI in addressing these markets.
