Rajesh Exports secures two prestigious awards from GJEPC for the 9th Consecutive Year

Rajesh Exports Ltd has announced that the Company has received the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council awards for the highest exports in the categories of PLAIN GOLD JEWELLERY exports and PLAIN PRECIOUS METAL JEWELLERY exports for the 9th consecutive year. With these recognitions, the Company has emerged as the only one of its kind in the country to secure two prestigious awards from the Council in the same year.

Mr. Prashant Mehta (Managing Director, of the Company) received the awards from the chief guest, Mr. Kamal Nath, honourable Minister Of Commerce in the presence of Mr. Bhuddhadeb Bhattacharjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal on the occasion of the 33rd Annual Awards Function of the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) at Kolkata held on November 25, 2006.

The Company has consistently been the largest exporter of gold jewellery from India, for last 12 years. It has been recognized as the only Five Star Export house in the jewellery Industry in India and has won several exports achievement awards from Indian / state government and various other bodies, consistently over last decade.

The Company has presence in the Middle East, Far East, Europe and USA. The Company caters to bulk buyers of jewellery in these markets. On the exports business, the Company has developed a collection of fusion designs which is inspired by the elements used in traditional Indian designs styled in forms and look which will appeal to consumers in the western markets.

The Company has decided to acquire a major share of the Indian gold jewellery retail market, worth Rs 85000 crores and has implemented plans to leverage its economies of scale by expanding into consumer retail markets of India. The Company has established its retail foray by launching 22 exclusive showrooms across the country under the brand name of "LAABH JEWELLERS"-The Complete Jeweller.
