LCC Infotech to enter computer hardware business in alliance with SST Media

LCC Infotech Ltd has announced that, LCC- Nirvana a brand under the joint stewardship of LCC Infotech, one of India largest corporate entities in professional IT training and SST Media, the Company behind the undisputed quality leader in Bengali news television, is supposed to hit the market by January 2007. However the official launch will be on December 28. The launch shall be by a quick rollout in the January 2007.

With unmatched fiscal incentives, Himachal Pradesh has been chosen as the ideal destination for the manufacturing operation. The state offers income tax and VAT exemption for 10 years, excise exemption and a variety of import permits. The factory is located in Parwanoo, at a distance of 10 kilometers from Kalka on the road to Shimla. The production will initially feature PCs, cabinets, speakers, mouse, UPS and keypads. A monitor plant, involving an investment of Rs 40 crore, is also on the cards.

The strategic between the two corporate brings home an unparalleled distribution advantage. LCC Infotech is amongst the top IT training and education organizations with a network of over 250 centers across the length and breadth of the country. This network will enable quick penetration of the brand all across the country with LCC's strong reach and presence in the upcountry region of India.
