Cranes Software receives UK Trade & Investment’s New Market Entrant award

Cranes Software International Ltd has announced that the Company has won the UK Trade and Investment award as the New Market Entrant of the Year. Mr Mike Connor UK’s Deputy High Commissioner (South India) presented the award to Company's Chairman Dr. Rudra Pratap in a ceremony at the Company's offices at Bangalore.

The UKTI awards are instituted under the aegis of UK Trade & Investment which is the British Government’s international business development agency. The UKTI awards aim to boost UK’s strong business link with India. These awards are designed to recognize and celebrate exceptional entrepreneurial and innovative talent, acknowledge vigorous bilateral trade and commerce, and the profitable partnership potential which exists between India and UK.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Asif Khader, Managing Director, of the Company said, "We take this award as a manifestation of our commitment towards excellence in providing service to the global scientific fraternity. We recognize it as an embodiment of our desire to establish ever more mutually benefic linkages between the Indian and UK corporate community." This award is a high recognition for the Company as it underlines the Company's commitment to reach out to an ever incrementing customer base among the global scientific community.

Many of India’s celebrated corporate entities were nominated for these awards in seven categories. The Company won the award in the community of other winners which included HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, LogicaCMG, and ITC to name a few.
