Torrent Power Changes financial year

Torrent Power Ltd has announced that the Company has closed its books of accounts for 18 months period ending on September 30, 2006 mainly to facilitate the amalgamation process.

The Company has decided to close its books on March 31st each year. Accordingly, the current financial year will be of six months and will end on March 31, 2007.
