Hindustan Construction repurchases FCCBs worth US$3.4 million

Hindustan Construction Company Ltd has announced that the Company has repurchased and cancelled USD 3.4 million of its outstanding Zero Coupon USD denominated Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds due 2011 (the "Bonds"), listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, in accordance with the A.P. (DIR Series) Circular No. 39 dated December 08, 2008 issued by the Reserve Bank of India.

The amount of Bonds outstanding after this repurchase and cancellation is USD 96.6 million.

The stock closed the day at Rs.55.50, down by Rs.0.35 or 0.63%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.60.15 and low of Rs.53.85.

The total traded quantity was 2283820 compared to 2 week average of 2513068.
