HCL Bags Best New Service Honour at Irish Call Centre Awards

HCL Technologies Ltd has announced that HCL BPO Services (NI) Ltd ("HCL"), a subsidiary of the Company has won the ‘Best New Service’ award at this year's prestigious annual Irish Contact Centre awards. HCL was especially commended for its partnership with Independent News & Media plc (INM).

In 2005, INM and HCL launched www.loadzajobs.co.uk, the leading online recruitment service in Northern Ireland, which displays over 20,000 job vacancies. HCL worked with INM to take the concept to market including development of its website, product branding, and staff recruitment.

HCL has gone on to forge a close relationship with INM. HCL provides a full range of pre-press, digital, editorial archive sharing and telemarketing services. The HCL Loadza team currently employs 20 staff. HCL plans to double this number by 2007.

The Irish Contact Centre Awards recognise innovation and excellence within the contact centre industry and are in their 11th year. HCL has built its presence in Ireland with two delivery centers in Belfast and Armagh, Northern Ireland (UK). It currently employs over 2,200 people in the UK, predominantly in its Northern Ireland facilities making it one of the top-10 private employers and the largest BPO firm in Northern Ireland.
