Siemens Ltd has announced the following results for the quarter & year ended September 30, 2006
The Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2006:
The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 1367.49 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 1044.56 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005. Total Income (net of excise) is Rs 15633.28 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 10007.65 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.
The Audited results for the year ended September 30, 2006:
The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 3601.07 million for the year ended September 30, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 2547.50 million for the year ended September 30, 2005. Total Income (net of excise) is Rs 46486.13 million for the year ended September 30, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 28846.59 million for the year ended September 30, 2005.
The Audited Consolidated results for the year ended September 30, 2006 are as follows:
The Group has posted a net profit after tax for the year (after minority interest) of Rs 3916.90 million for the year ended September 30, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 3091.66 million for the year ended September 30, 2005. Total Income (net of excise) is Rs 60823.71 million for the year ended September 30, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 36998.59 million for the year ended September 30, 2005.
- Demag Delaval Industrial Turbomachinery Pvt Ltd (DDIT) (a 100% subsidiary of the Company) being part of Power Segment, Switchgear Manufacturing Division (SMD) and Siemens VDO Automotive Ltd (SVDO) were amalgamated with the Company on November 17, 2005, May 03, 2006 and January 16, 2006 effective from April 01, 2005, May 03, 2006 and October 01, 2004 respectively.
- Consequently the figures for the quarter and twelve months ended September 30, 2006 include the financial results of DDIT, SMD and SVDO amounting to Profit Before Tax of Rs 94.96 million for the quarter, and Rs 187.61 million for the twelve months respectively. Therefore the figures for the corresponding previous quarter and twelve months are not strictly comparable.
