Apollo Hospitals denies news item on stake acquisition

With reference to the news item appearing in leading financial daily titled "Apollo may pick majority stake in Lanka Hospitals", Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd has clarified that at the moment the Company is not considering any proposal for investment into the equity of The Lanka Hospitals Corporation Ltd, Colombo, Sri Lanka, and the same was indicated by the Chairman at the meeting.
