Poona Dal & Oil enters into agreement with overseas supplier for supply of pulses

Poona Dal & Oil Industries Ltd has announced that due to the disrupted availability of pulses in the domestic market the Company has entered into a agreement with an overseas supplier for supply of pulses over a period of next 3-4 months to the tune of about Rs 35 Crores. This will ensure smooth availability of material for processing to the Company. Already the Government has in view of shortages of pulses in the domestic market has reduced the import duty from 10% to Zero % on pulses upto March 2007.

Due to the assured supply of materials to the Company the operations of the agro division are expected to good results in the current financial year.
