Digital matchmaking pioneer Matrimony.com Limited has announced its provisional top-line billing results for the first quarter of the 2027 fiscal year, recording steady single-digit revenue growth. The performance was driven almost entirely by strong transactional momentum across its core matrimonial matchmaking platforms.
Consolidated Billings Advance past ₹136 Crore
Matrimony.com generated total consolidated billings of ₹13,603 lakhs (approximately ₹136 crore) during the three-month period ended June 30, 2026. This marks a 7.8% year-on-year (YoY) expansion compared to the ₹12,616 lakhs collected during the corresponding first quarter of the previous fiscal year, demonstrating stable user monetization and sustained subscription renewals.
Management clarified that these early-release figures are unaudited and remain subject to standard limited reviews by the company's statutory auditors, as well as formal approval cycles by the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
Segment-Wise Performance: Matchmaking vs. Wedding Services
An analysis of the company's internal operating segments shows an overwhelming reliance on its primary matchmaking vertical, while its allied wedding ecosystem faced a slight contraction:
Matchmaking Services: The core matchmaking division-which runs prominent platforms like BharatMatrimony-scaled its quarterly billings to ₹13,527 lakhs. This reflects a solid increase over the ₹12,531 lakhs registered in Q1 FY26, capturing virtually all the group's positive revenue momentum.
Marriage Services & Others: Conversely, the company's value-added wedding services and auxiliary concepts experienced a soft quarter. Billings for this segment compressed to ₹76 lakhs, dropping below the ₹85 lakhs managed in the previous year's comparative period.
