Raj Rayon half year sales up 23.70%

Raj Rayon Ltd has announced that the Company engaged in the manufacture of polyester texturised yarn (PTY) and partially oriented yarn (POY) at silvassa has shown impressive working results for the half year ended September 30, 2006 as evidenced through spurt in sales by 23.70% to Rs 106.68 crore, and increase in PBDIT by 36.41% to Rs 14.08 crore. The Company is implementing an expansion project which will enhance, significantly the installed capacity of PTY & increase the product range to include Fully Drawn Yarn (FDY) and Filament Yarn (FY). The partial trial run of FDY has commenced and response from the market is very encouraging. This in turn, is expected to enhance, substantially the sales and profit of the Company.
